Caï, between sweetness and transformation

Photography has something magical, it witnesses the metamorphosis of those who step in front of the lens. During my session with Cai, a model from Matt Models Amsterdam, I was captivated by his ability to change in an instant. Off-camera, he is a sweet, relaxed young man, always smiling. But with just one click, his presence shifts: his gaze intensifies, his energy transforms, and suddenly, in front of me, stands a supermodel in the making.

This duality is what makes photographing him so fascinating. Natural light revealed every nuance of his expression, from the freshness of his laughter to the depth of a stare that seems to tell a story. As the editor of the digital magazine VOYEUR MAG, I wanted to include this editorial for the power it conveys. There was something special in these images, something that went beyond aesthetics, a raw authenticity. That’s why I chose one of these photos for the cover, because his gaze has that effortless intensity, that natural beauty that speaks for itself.

Cai is taking his first steps in the fashion world, but his potential is undeniable. With a magnetic presence and an innate ability to adapt and transform, his journey is just beginning, and I have no doubt that a brilliant future awaits him.
